As an overarching rule, each project should be implemented in line with the concept presented in the approved application and Subsidy Contract. Any modifications to the scope of the project, the planned activities and to the partnership should be avoided. introduced changes should not result in substantial changes to the project objectives unless they are clearly justified by the change of external circumstances under which the project is implemented.

Changes require different procedures to be applied – deviations (harmonised between partners) and changes requiring the decision of the JS or the MC. It has to be emphasized that information about deviations and changes within the project, especially within the project budget, must be reflected by the JS in the SL2014 system in order to maintain an appropriate audit trial.

Projects are advised to contact their Project Officer beforehand, if the necessity of project changes arise.
