Acronym: Horse tourism for everyone

The project involves 10 partners from Poland (3), Lithuania (2), Sweden (2), Germany (2), Denmark (1). The partnership is composed of voivodeship authority, municipality, NGOs, DMOs, museum, SME. The partners are supported by 24 associated partners which are NGOs, local authorities, regional authority, national authority SMEs, associations of several regional or local authorities from Poland, Lithuania, Sweden, Denmark and Germany. The project is led by Pomorskie Voivodeship (Poland).
The overall project objective is turning the SBA into an inclusive all-year-round horse tourism destination by supporting tourism providers in the creation and promotion of innovative offers that make equestrianism accessible to wider groups of visitors & inhabitants.
The project’s activities start with setting up regional partnerships for inclusive horse tourism development in the South Baltic area that interact with each other. The outcome of the first part of the project is a model to establish & manage regional partnerships for horse tourism development. The next work package is piloting & rolling out next-generation horse trails in the South Baltic area in which 5 horse trails are tested. Then the results of prior actions are implemented in practice by launching new kinds of inclusive horse tourism offers for visitors & inhabitants. The last activities’ purpose is to create a promotion package to change the image of equestrianism and to promote the South Baltic area as inclusive horse tourism destination.
The main target groups are equestrian tourism providers / SMEs, destination management organisations (DMOs), local & regional authorities, visitors of the South Baltic area, inhabitants of the South Baltic area.
