Today, on 3 June, starts the EU Green Week 2023. The EU Green Week 2023 will take place from between 3 June and 11 June. EU Green Week is your annual opportunity to debate, become familiar with, or even celebrate EU environment policy. It’s an opportunity to celebrate the progress we’ve made, and to encourage individuals, communities and organisations to take stronger action in future – to protect, preserve and restore our environment, for now and for future generations, while constantly promoting sustainable development.
On this occasion, the Green Week hybrid conference, Delivering a Net-Zero World, opens with sessions on the latest policy developments in the areas of biodiversity, circular economy and zero pollution. On second day, the discussion will focus on more technical and specialized topics. Participants are encouraged to attend in person in Brussels.
As Interreg South Baltic, we have supported 42 projects related to green technologies – of which 28 are seed money projects – aimed at preserving regional biodiversity and reducing carbon emissions towards the goal of climate neutrality. Here more info about our green technologies projects:
