Amended Interreg South Baltic Programme 2021-2027 v2.1. has been approved by the European Commission

The European Commission on 15 December 2023 approved the amended Interreg South Baltic Programme 2021-2027 (v2.1.).

Changes include the expansion of the Programme eligible area covering the Olsztyński subregion (NUTS3 – PL622) of the Poland’s Warmińsko-Mazurskie Voivodeship, as well as the increase to 93,802,411.00 EUR of the ERDF amount in the Programme. 

These changes were earlier requested by Poland and approved by the Monitoring Committee of the Interreg South Baltic Programme 2021-2027 and are the result of decision to redistribute funds intended for cooperation programmes with the Russian Federation and Belarus, which were canceled due to unjustified and unprovoked military aggression to Ukraine.
